Private Resource company Puddle Pond Resources Inc. of Bay Roberts , NL is pleased to announce all nine (9) drill holes just completed along the Pinnacle – Lunch Spot – Turpin structural zone continues to intersect the favorable silica and quartz vein alteration typically carrying the gold and silver mineralization on it’s 100 % owned Heritage Gold – Silver Project. This zone is one of several targets prioritized for the fall drilling program which commenced September 18th (ref. Press Release Sept. 20, 2019).
Three (3) holes planned for testing a 200 metre section of this structural zone each intersected the favorable rocks and as a result the drilling along this zone was increased, successfully testing a 525 metre section with nine (9) holes completed totaling 776 metres (2,545 ft) of NQ size core. Highlights of the drill core include up to 25 metres thick, multiple layers of the silica and quartz veined altered rock, from which 328 samples were saw cut for assaying.
All samples have now been shipped to Eastern Analytical Laboratory at Springdale, NL who advises assays will be not be available until early November. Because of the importance of these results the company has suspended drilling so that the drill core assays can be evaluated to assist in directing future drilling on the Heritage Project.
